She brings to the Friends of Santa Ana Zoo over 25 years of experience in management and event planning and over 15 years experience working with non-profit animal rescue groups. Cathi has been with the Zoo since 1996.

Tom Decker, Director of Communications & Technology, earned a B.S. in Information & Computer Science from UC Irvine and has taken post-graduate courses in management, fundraising, and grant writing. He has over 15 years experience in project management with Producer, Designer, and/or Writing credits for over 30 computer and board games. His grants written for the Zoo have generated substantial income for Zoo projects, education programs, and the animals.

Vanessa Anderson, Office Manager and Financials Assistant, brings 10 years experience in office administration and finance, 6 Years Lead Animal Keeper experience from the Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA and 4 years experience in wild horse rescue and other animal rescue groups.

Estela Gomez, Membership and Rentals Coordinator, has courses towards her AA degree in Liberal Arts, and brings over four years of membership sales experience. Before joining the Friends of Santa Ana Zoo, she worked as a tutor for elementary kids in the afterschool program.

Dale Frink, Assistant Manager of Staff & Scheduling majored in Aquarium Science at Saddleback College and has a combined 3 years of volunteer experience in husbandry and education at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point, Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and the Santa Ana Zoo. He has worked previously in animal education at the Sea Life Aquarium in Carlsbad, CA before joining the Friends of Santa Ana Zoo in May of 2009.
