How to purchase
Online
Tickets are available online here.
Payment
- You may use Visa or MasterCard to pay.
- We do not accept American Express or Discover for payment for general admission tickets.
Need to know
- You will receive a receipt and QR code(s) via email after your online purchase.
- You must present the QR code(s) that you receive to be scanned check in upon arrival at the zoo.
- You may purchase general admission tickets online in advance or on the day of your visit.
- Online tickets may be used any day between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for general admission.
- Online general admission tickets cannot be used for special events or for Zoo Explorer programs.
- Tickets purchased online expire after one year.
In person
Need to know
- You may buy tickets in person at the Zoo ticket booth from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
- Accepted forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, and cash.

Museums for All
Through Museums for All, we’re partnering with museums across the country to make sure everyone can experience the best museums have to offer. Find other participating museums. You can receive a SNAP/EBT discount on zoo tickets with your SNAP/EBT card and ID.
- SNAP/EBT cardholders may purchase up to four (4) reduced cost tickets per day, per visit, for $3 each.
- SNAP/EBT cardholder must present a valid SNAP/EBT card and valid photo ID, and must be one of the ticketed guests.
- P-EBT cards, SUN Bucks cards, and WIC are not accepted for Museums for All tickets.
- Museums for All tickets are not available online. They must be purchased in person at the zoo ticket booth.

Advance tickets
Tickets may be purchased in advance online. They are good for one year.
Zoo Passports may be purchased at the ticket booth and used for future zoo visits. These make great gifts and do not expire. These are paper certificates that work as tickets for zoo admission.
Zoo passports must be given to ticket booth staff upon check in on day of visit when used for zoo admission. They are good for general admission only and cannot be used for admission to special events. They are non-refundable and non-replaceable.
