Family Programs (on grounds)
A variety of natural science workshops are offered to the public on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. All sessions are geared to a variety of ages and provide an exciting opportunity to learn about animals and nature firsthand. Reservations are required for all Family Adventure Programs.
Breakfast with the Beasts includes a light continental breakfast, Zoo tour, and feeding the farm animals their breakfast.
Animal Handling offers an exposure to small mammals, reptiles, amphibians an invertebrates found both locally and in other areas of the world.
Twilight Tour is an evening program including a guided flashlight tour of the Zoo as well as meeting some "neighborly" nocturnal animals.
Family Sleepover Programs are offered during the summer months of July and August. Programs begin at 6:30pm and end at 8am the next morning. Program includes dinner, breakfast, activities with nocturnal animals, a flashlight tour of the Zoo, and early morning zoo visit.
