Zoo Explorer (grades K-6)
May & June only Your adventure starts with a special live animal show. Afterwards you and your class explore the Zoo on a self-guided tour and interact with docents at hands-on activity stations. Instructional materials are grade specific and correlate to the Ca. State Content Standards for science. (Please note: This is the only school education program offered in May and June.)
The cost is $3.00 per student /$6.00 adult chaperone. Credentialed teachers are free. The fee includes Zoo admission. Programs are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings during May and June. Book early by calling (714) 647-6575; progams are usually full by October.
